VAMIT Level is a professional mobile spirit level for Android. It measures orientation on the X, Y and Z axes using sensors available on the device. No account is required.

Sensors and Measurements

The app may use the gyroscope, rotation-vector sensor, gravity sensor and accelerometer. Readings are processed on the device to display bubbles, direction and signed angles. Sensor readings and measurements are not sent to a Vamit server or tracked by Vamit. Zero references and held measurements exist only during the active app session.

Data Stored Locally

The selected language, technical preferences and a local ad-free entitlement indicator may be stored on the device. They remain until app data is cleared or the app is uninstalled. Google Play may check ownership so the purchase can be restored for the same Google account.

Advertising and Consent

The free version uses Google AdMob through the Google Mobile Ads SDK. Depending on region, consent and Google settings, personalized, non-personalized or limited ads may be shown. Google may process advertising identifiers, device information, app and ad interactions, diagnostic information and approximate location for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention.

The app uses Google User Messaging Platform where consent is required. Available choices can be reviewed in the app under Settings > Ad privacy. See the Google Privacy Policy, Google advertising technologies and AdMob partner information.

One-Time Ad-Free Purchase

The non-consumable Google Play product remove_ads_forever removes future ads. Google Play processes the localized price, payment method, billing and purchase administration. The app receives purchase status and a technical purchase token needed to activate and acknowledge ownership. Vamit does not currently store that token on its own server.

No Vamit Analytics, Account or Cloud

There is no Vamit account, proprietary cloud sync or separate analytics or crash-reporting SDK. Vamit does not automatically receive sensor values, language choice or measurements.

Support, Third Parties and Retention

If you email support, Vamit receives only what you choose to send. Google AdMob, Google UMP, Google Play and your email provider may process information for their stated functions. Vamit does not sell sensor readings or personal data. Local preferences remain until cleared or uninstalled; temporary measurements last only for the session; Google data follows Google's controls and retention; support mail is kept only as reasonably needed.

Deletion and Security

Clear local information through Android settings or uninstall the app. Ask Vamit to delete support information at support@vamit.net. Manage Google information through Google's privacy, advertising and account controls. External SDK connections use secure transport where supported, although no system is risk-free.

Children and Changes

VAMIT Level is a professional utility and is not specifically directed at children. This policy may change when the app, SDKs, services or applicable laws change.

Measurement notice. VAMIT Level is a practical utility, not a certified surveying or safety instrument. Verify critical measurements with suitable calibrated equipment.
